Mitja Matelič focuses mainly on commercial, labour, civil and tax law, with a particular emphasis on contract law and real estate projects.
In 2003, he graduated from the Faculty of Law of the University of Ljubljana, where he also completed a Master's degree in Civil and Commercial Law and obtained a Master of Law Sciences degree. He also completed his postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Economics of the University La Sapienza of Rome in 2005.
He started his career as an independent attorney in 2011, and since 2012 he has co-founded the Law Firm Matelič, where he has been working ever since. Prior to that, he worked at the Financial Administration of the Republic of Slovenia and at two renowned law firms.
He obtained the title of Attorney - Specialist in Civil and Commercial Law from the Slovenian Bar Association.
He is fluent in Slovenian, Italian, English, Croatian and Serbian, and also speaks German.

Sanda Bužinel Matelič focuses her practice on civil, commercial, and administrative law, with a particular emphasis on tort, inheritance, family and property law.
She graduated cum laude from the Faculty of Law of the University of Ljubljana in 2003 and passed the State Bar Examination in 2006. In 2010, she completed her Master's degree in Civil and Commercial Law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Ljubljana, where she was awarded the degree Master of Law Sciences.
Since 2012, she has been working as an attorney at the Law Firm Matelič as one of its co-founders. Prior to that, she worked at the District Court in Nova Gorica, at a major accounting firm and at two renowned law firms.
She obtained the title of Attorney - Specialist in Civil and Commercial Law from the Slovenian Bar Association. She is also a mediator.
She is fluent in Slovenian, Italian, English and Croatian.
